Purpose of the Role / Key activities and accountabilities

 Americas team.

 

 RayOne Galaxy, our next-generation spiral IOL platform, has been meticulously engineered to 

 redefine the way your presbyopia patients experience the world. When patient satisfaction is

 non-negotiable, the RayOne Galaxy emerges as a new premium lens solution designed to

 diminish dysphotopic compromise.

 
 

 Purpose of the Role:

  • Primary objective is to drive and achieve the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio in LATAM including our newest launch, Galaxy.
  • Lead the Premium sector, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology
  • Support and drive clinical expertise across the private sector groups in line with the Latam Strategy
  • Keep updated with market developments, providing regular training to the distributor sales team
  • Extensive travel across LATAM with particular focus on concentrated areas of private IOL surgery such a Argentina Colombia Ecuador
  • Develop a network of KOLs across the region maintaining a strong program of scientific promotions
  • Work closely with Marketing and Eye Sciences to increase podium presence, deliver high quality medical education, webinars, case studies and articles
  • Work closely with the Country Manager, Marketing Manager, sales agents, and distributors,
  • Plan, coordinate and implement clinical evaluations to ensure clinical acceptance of Rayner product range and technology

Qualifications/ Training/Experience

 

Essential:

  • Transferable premium IOL market share
  • Experience selling into the Latam private healthcare environment
  • Experience within local ophthalmology sector
  • Extensive KOL/ophthalmic surgeon network in local sector
  • Full local Driving License

 
 

Desirable: 

  • Educated to Degree level
