We specialize in the design and manufacture of intraocular lenses (IOLs) and related products, such as odds and pharmaceuticals used in cataract and refractive surgery. The first ever FDA- approved IOL was a Rayner lens. Today, over 26 million IOLs are implanted around the world every year, and it is globally the most performed elective surgical procedure. In June 2021 Rayner was acquired by CVC, an international Private Equity business with substantial funds under management. Rayner acquired their distributor in India and became a direct operation there in 2021, with head offices in Mumbai and logistics/warehouse in Ahmedabad.

 

Responsibilities include: 

 * Sales of Rayner and Rayner associate products to the ophthalmologist in Private Practice, Teaching Institute, Charitable Hospital and Govt Hospitals.

 * Accountable for achieving agreed sales and performance targets within agreed budgets and timescales. 

 * Implement related activities like customer events, sales and marketing campaigns, sales presentations necessary to achieve agreed objectives.

 * Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors

. * Achieve agreed coverage and frequency targets through various communication channels.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and best-in-class customer relationship. 

 * Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all reports.

 * Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through co-operative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives.

 * Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.

 * Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively penetrate the ophthalmologist market.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential clients.

 * Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product.

 * Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales manager.
