In this role, you will be a business partner to the key stakeholders in the UK, supporting them with their people needs. Providing our people leaders with day to day support to ensure they have the tools and resources to manage, develop, motivate and retain their team members.
We will consider applicants who are HR Analysts / Advisors looking to step up into their first HR Manager role.
Minimum 3 days in the office per week.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide advice and coaching to people managers to improve their capability and ensure performance/misconduct issues are managed effectively and consistently.
Provide guidance around questions related to employment; including benefits, payroll, onboarding, policies, compliance.
Build effective relationships with all people managers so that they see you as a partner who supports them in effectively managing and developing their people
Take the lead on the annual employee engagement survey, analysing the data and presenting key trends to the business
Partner with people managers on their engagement action plans, ensuring these are measurable and followed through
Support people managers through the annual performance review cycle
Manage the HRIS, developing your knowledge as a subject matter expert in the system
Lead on HR related projects and partner with internal stakeholders to achieve results
Continuously monitor and review employment law changes to ensure HR policies, procedures and guidelines are updated
Support the HR Administrator with UK & Ireland payroll processing - ensuring data entered is accurate before obtaining approval from VP HR
Coach and support the HR Administrator and Fun Manager
Invite and promote constructive and ongoing feedback
Foster a positive work culture promoting diversity, inclusion and wellbeing
What Experience Do You Need
- A collaborative style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions
- Ability to communicate confidently, succinctly and logically both verbal and in writing
- A passion to win and natural desire to support your colleagues
- Self-motivated team player with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- CIPD Level 5 or relevant experience
- Experience of working in a manufacturing industry
- Strong employment law knowledge
