In this role, you will be a business partner to the key stakeholders in Europe, supporting them with their people needs. Providing our people leaders with day to day support to ensure they have the tools and resources to manage, develop, motivate and retain their team members. 

 

What You'll be Doing

  • Act as business partner to the European Management team and is the key contact for employees and Managers within the business unit.
  • Influence and implement the global HR strategy across Europe.
  • Ensure compliance with European labour laws.
  • Actively supports the delivery of HR Processes, projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, EU and Hiring managers to bring in best in class talent.
  • Manage HR policies and practices, ensuring consistency while adapting to local requirements.
  • Work with the HR analyst on payroll processes and vendor relationships in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Manager employee relations issues, providing guidance to resolve conflicts effectively
  • Builds strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Acts as a performance improvement deliverer and provokes positive changes in people management.
  • With support from the HoHR Europe, implement and update performance management processes, identify training needs and legal and compliance related matters.

  • Provide HR and change management support when integrations are required following mergers and acquisitions.
  • Actively support managers with all employee relations case work (inc. Absence management, performance, disciplinary and capability).
  • Complete monthly HR metrics and reports for the region, making recommendations for improvement where required.
  • Deliver HR reports and analysis for annual salary review.
  • Create and attend, where practical Country Manager meetings and relevant business meetings in your region to represent HR and HR value-add.
  • Drive Rayner’s culture and engagement activities in your business area to increase participation and awareness.
  • Maintain updated on Best Practice HR and local legislation.
  • Provide guidance around questions related to employment; including benefits, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, policies, compliance.
  • Partner with people managers on their engagement action plans, ensuring these are measurable and followed through
  • Manage the HRIS, developing your knowledge as a subject matter expert in the system
  • Foster a positive work culture promoting diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.

 

What Experience Do You Need

  • Graduate and/or relevant experience
  • Experience of working across some, if not all, Rayner’s EU geographies
  • Strong credibility and able to handle ambiguity
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong business and Financial Acumen
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, able to interpret data and data accuracy essential
  • Solid employment law knowledge
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
  • Able to travel to Rayner office locations on occasion to attend business meetings
  • Resilience and adaptable to change.
