We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and be accountable for the growth, development, and promotion of Rayner’s portfolio in India market. The purpose of this role is to lead and be accountable for the growth, development and promotion of Rayner’s portfolio, maximising the impact of all marketing activities and ensuring alignment with the global and regional marketing plans.
In this role, you will build effective relationships with KOLs and other external stakeholders to harness their cooperation and engagement in developing innovative products and participate in and actively engage in organizing specialist marketing programs at major industry conferences in the region.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and deliver marketing strategies for the full Rayner product and service portfolio in India, aligned with global and regional plans.
- Plan and execute Indian congresses, customer events, and educational/promotional meetings to drive maximum ROI.
- Work closely with global marketing on product launches and post-launch activities across the Rayner portfolio.
- Translate and adapt global marketing materials for local relevance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and external stakeholders, supporting KOL program initiatives (PR, practice management, and national communications).
- Identify, establish, and develop Centres of Excellence for Rayner’s premium products to support new account growth in India.
- Support the planning and coordination of clinical and pre-market studies to ensure evidence generation for current and future product claims.
- Drive demand for RayPRO by engaging new users and developing existing accounts in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Together with the commercial team, develop and recommend tailored pricing strategies in line with Indian market needs.
- Champion Rayner’s corporate and product brand identities to ensure consistency and compliance across all marketing activities.
- Track and manage the Indian marketing budget, ensuring spend is optimized and aligned with approved business plans.
- Lead and mentor the team to deliver business objectives while staying updated on industry trends and competitive activity.
- Support the India sales team with marketing promotional requirements, including development of leaflets, brochures, and other collateral.
- Occasionally conduct product training and technical knowledge training sessions for the India sales team.

What Experience & Skills You Will Need:
Essential:
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in marketing, preferably in ophthalmic/medical devices, healthcare, or pharma.
- Proven experience in product launches, marketing strategy development, and campaign execution.
- Strong understanding of Indian healthcare/ophthalmic market dynamics and KOL management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in managing budgets and driving ROI from marketing activities.
- Knowledge of clinical/pre-market studies and evidence generation.
- Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and healthcare promotion tools
