The NetSuite Analyst / Project Manager is a role that requires excellent versatility, combining business, financial and technical skills. Day-to-day duties involve configuring and maintaining NetSuite in support of business needs and the on-going deployment programme across Rayner. You will be expected to ensure the backend functions correctly, and to provide on-going technical support for all users of NetSuite.

Duties

  • Guiding the further rollout of NetSuite across Rayner – into new countries / legal entities in support of Rayner’s growth plans
  • Provide input to project teams on all aspects of the NetSuite deployment programme 
  • Providing on-going post-implementation NetSuite support; driving testing, planning, execution, and optimisation support
  • Working with end-users to understand business needs to identify best solutions
  • Troubleshoot application, process, and functional issues
  • Performing day-to-day operations, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting activities through prioritisation of requests
  • Developing, testing, and deploying customizations, custom objects, and third-party applications; customising/maintaining reports, dashboards, and saved searches
  • Support the continued evolution of the NetSuite system
  • Performing knowledge transfer to the internal IT support team to enable them to provide first line support of NetSuite
  • Prepare dashboards and reports in support of user requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the IT function at Rayner

Competencies:

  1. Experience in a technical project management/project delivery role related to NetSuite, or similar ERP system
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  3. Analytical mindset – able to leverage experience and ask probing questions to ensure projects are fully scoped and solutions understood
  4. Proactive approach to project delivery including change management, risk management and reporting on project progress
  5. Relevant training and accreditations, such as Prince, ITIL, SCRUM/Agile would be advantageous

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • A minimum of five years in a technical IT role 
  • Highly proficient in Oracle NetSuite across a range of modules
  • Sound understanding of the function of an IT Department and IT frameworks (e.g. ITIL) 

Desirable: 

  • NetSuite certifications
  • Experience in MS SQL to database administrator level 
  • Experience gained in a pharmaceutical / medical device / life sciences organisation
