The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the hiring initiatives in line with our direct sourcing strategy and will identify best in class candidates while building and maintaining a network of top talent and helping to achieve the HR mission of ensuring we have the right talent, with the right capabilities at the right time and cost to deliver on the needs of the business and our patients.
The Talent Acquisition specialist will be a business partner to the hiring manager and provide consultation and expertise to the hiring Managers throughout the whole recruitment process and will provide constructive input into the hiring decision.
The ideal candidate will be results driven, resourceful, adept at building both internal and external relationships and able to navigate changing priorities and demands.
The role will be based in the Rayner Global Headquarters in Worthing, West Sussex and reports to the VP HR
What you'll be doing:
- Full cycle recruitment including: job briefing with hiring managers, tailoring job descriptions, posting roles and industry online resources, researching and sourcing candidates, screening, interview scheduling and interviews and negotiating and extending to offer
- Ensure that the direct sourcing targets of >80% are achieved through candidate generation and application management & pro-active searches
- Partner with recruiting line managers to lead searches on best practice recruitment consistently raising the bar on recruitment standards
- Support the VPHR with the implementation of the ATS as a priority project and in revitalizing our employer brand and value proposition
- Own & manage all recruitment advertising through our ATS, website, relevant job boards and Linkedin
- Build a talent pipeline to ensure roles are filled with top quality candidates and we have a bank of talent who want to join Rayner
- Devise and implement recruitment KPI’s to the business. Maintain knowledge on industry standard metrics and relationship management with external suppliers
- Run high volume assessment centres for our state of the art manufacturing facility
- Stay abreast of the industry knowing where to find the best talent for our diverse and varied needs
- Establish and maintain contacts with sources of employment such as colleges, associations and universities etc.
- Provide innovative recruitment solutions to ensure a recruitment is timely
- Develop and implement a best in class onboarding programme in line with the HR team for all new hires
- Knowledge of psychometric assessment and when they are appropriate for use
- Support internal HR activities as and when required
What experience do you need:
Essential
- Experience of direct sourcing
- Able to navigate Linkedin Recruiter and MS office Suite
- Able to speak and write fluent English
- Used to providing business metrics for recruitment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- External Awareness: Understands and keeps up to date on local, national, and international recruitment trends and key supplier and relationships
- Adaptability: Adjusts to changing environments whilst maintaining effectiveness
- Communication: Communicates effectively, listens sensitively, adapts communication to audience and fosters effective communication with others, is a good influencer and excellent presentation skills.
- Teamwork: Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
- Organisational Awareness: Demonstrates an understanding of underlying organisational issues, proactively spots trends and plans to address issues before they arise. Develops meaningful metrics and data for the business that demonstrates value.
Desirable
- Experience of maximising a Recruitment system/Applicant tracking system
- 2nd language other than English
