We are recruiting for a Test Engineer to join our R&D team at This AG - A Rayner Group Company!
Sometimes we have to view things from a completely new perspective. That’s the idea behind Sophi. Sophi redefines the requirements of a perfect Phaco-System by focusing on the points of view of the surgeon, the surgical team and all other involved parties. The result is a high-end device which sets new standards.
This AG is located in the border triangle of Switzerland, Austria and Germany, in the Rhine Valley of St. Gallen. Following the acquisition of This AG by Rayner in January 2024, we have continued to grow our teams, especially in our R&D department located on-site.
This role is 100% on-site in Heerbrugg.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Automated testing of mechatronic MedTech systems, microcontroller systems, bus systems, wired and wireless communication, sensors and actuators
- Design Review, Validations
- Execution and evaluation of tests
- Creation of test concept, test specifications for the fulfilment of CI/CD
- Cooperation with the development department to optimise the HW/SW/mechanics
- Creation of test devices
- Documentation and verification in accordance with medical device development guidelines
What Experience & Skills Do You Need:
Requirements
- Education/level: Electronics technician, HF, FH or university degree in electronics or electrical engineering or computer science
- Experience in automated testing and corresponding programming languages (Python, LabView, …)
- Ideally experience in development projects (programming in C/C++, measurement technology, embedded systems, microcontrollers, MedTech)
- Languages: German and English, written and spoken
