Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. The purpose of this role is -

To maintain and follow all systems for the processing, ordering, receipt, storage and issue of all materials required by the Company.

To transport products / materials between our sites.

To maintain the systems to the standards required by the Company's quality policy and to such other standards as the Company may require or direct from time to time.

What You'll Be Doing

*  Safely unload and control incoming materials and deliveries.

*  Ensure that correct incoming documentation with deliveries is received.

*  Locate deliveries in correct zones and with correct status.

*  Safe use of warehouse equipment to move and locate components (VNA, forklift, stackers, pallet trucks, manual handling, etc)

*  Drive products and materials between facilities

*  Liaise with QA for goods in sampling / testing.

*  Issue materials to production.

*  Ensure loading bay and materials stores are kept safe and tidy at all times.

*  Maintain the computer system used for issuing of supplier orders and invoice receipting.

*  Chase overdue deliveries or escalate to purchasing team

*  Perform physical stock counts.

*  Liaise with Purchasing Officer regarding maintaining reasonable and adequate stocks of all materials required for the continuing production of products.

*  Make suggestions for improvements to the department and work practices.

*  Ensure that all appropriate SOP's are followed and kept up to date.

*  Work at all times to the requirements of Health & Safety law and the Company's Requirements as to Health & Safety.

*  Be available for training courses when required and carry out any other duties that may be reasonably required

*  Maintain a Controlled and safe working environment.

*  Correct status control of all materials.

*  Accurate counting and control of materials

*  Correct Lot rotation and issue to production.

• Fork Lift license
• VNA License
• Manual handling training
