We are looking for a driven and aspiring marketer who wants to develop into a junior product manager role and work closely with the Global Marketing Director (Cataract) to manage, develop and grow Rayner’s comprehensive cataract portfolio (IOLs, OVDs, Ocular Surface Disease solutions).

 

You’ll play a key role in all facets of product management within a fast-paced and collaborative marketing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketer with some product marketing industry experience to develop within a growing global organisation, with high potential for career advancement.

 

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week on-site at our Global HQ in Worthing required as a minimum. 

 

What You'll be Doing:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the cataract portfolio marketing strategy.
  • Support product positioning, messaging, and value proposition development.
  • Participate in R&D-led New Product Development (NPD) meetings.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing and commercial teams to ensure alignment of product strategy and lifecycle milestones.
  • Oversee the development of high impact marketing materials plus packaging updates, ensuring alignment with brand and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify market opportunities through in-depth market/trend analysis, as well as customer feedback gathering.
  • Build close relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive engagement and advocacy of Rayner’s cataract portfolio.
  • Act as a key point of contact between Cataract Marketing and key internal stakeholders/teams such as Sales, R&D, QARA, and Supply Chain.

 

What Experience & Skills Do You Need:

  • Degree in Business / Marketing / Science / Optometry / Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

  • Product marketing experience – e.g. launching new products and managing product lifecycles.

  • Strong scientific background, able to comprehend and interpret scientific/clinical data.

  • Formal business or marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM).

  • Experience working in Optometry/ophthalmology.

  • Language: English, additional language preferred.

  • Working exposure to medical device regulations – e.g. MDR, FDA.
