Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Associate to join our Quality Engineering Department.
This is a full-time, permanent position, worked Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid role, 4 days a week in the office, 1 day working from home.
This is a key role supporting the Quality Engineering Department by ensuring product quality and compliance through data analysis, monitoring, and process improvement. Involved in reviewing product release activities, coordinating environmental monitoring, and working closely with the microbiology lab and other departments.
Key responsibilities include:
* Proactive data analysis of QC Inspection activities to support Process Improvement
* Product Release activities
* Nonconformities and CAPA projects
* Management of Continuous improvement trending and tracking activities
* Management of Environmental Monitoring activities
* Environmental Monitoring activities including managing and conducting sampling
* Review and approve Product Release documentation including Autoclave Cycle Reports and Microbiological Test Results
* Liaise with Microbiological Lab on test results and any investigations
* Assist with Nonconformity and CAPA investigations, administration and trending
* Assist with Supplier Approval and Maintenance
* Provide administrative support to the Quality Engineering Team as necessary
Manage Tracking and Trending of QA Data and Metrics (KPIs) for:*
- IOL Batch Control
- Nonconformity and Reworks
- Supplier and QA Goods In
- Injector Nozzle Coating
- Product Release
- Microbiology (Product, Environmental)
- Start-Up Test Data
- Other Quality data trending requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential
* Familiar with using databases and business management systems (ERP/eQMS).
* Competent in IT practices and use of Microsoft applications.
* Has worked with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 preferable).
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, intermediate or advanced skill level.
* Keen to learn new skills and champion Quality across the business.
* Pragmatic and detail-oriented approach.
* Strong communicator with excellent verbal and presentation skills.
* Possess the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Desirable
* Experience in dealing with external companies.
* Experience using an ERP system or similar.
