As a Sr. Analyst, Commercial Operations, you will be a key contributor in driving strategic insights, optimizing processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making across our commercial organization. You will own complex projects from analysis through execution, often working independently and presenting directly to senior leadership.
You will bring technical expertise (SQL, Tableau, Excel) and a business-oriented mindset to lead initiatives spanning pricing, contracting, sales performance, and incentive compensation. You will also design KPI’s, automate reporting processes, and identify operational improvements that drive efficiency and impact.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Lead the development and execution of incentive compensation planning, reporting and calculations with high accuracy and timeliness.
* Design and implement complex, scalable reporting initiatives for cross-functional stakeholders, including senior management.
* Build and maintain scalable, automated dashboards and reporting tools using SQL and Tableau.
* Analyze and combine complex datasets (e.g. distributor sales, chargebacks, customer behavior, and other miscellaneous data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Present insights and recommendations directly to commercial leadership.
* Train users on dashboards and tools.
* Prioritize and manage multiple workstreams, balancing recurring reporting with ad hoc analytics requests, communication priorities and timelines clearly and effectively.
* Drive process improvements and develop new tools or processes that enhance operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, HR, Sales, Reimbursement, Customer Service) to drive business objectives.

* Are equally comfortable working heads-down in SQL or presenting to a VP.
Qualifications/ Training/Experience
Essential
* 5-7+ years of experience in an analytics, business operations, or commercial strategy role.
* Strong SQL skills (required); proficiency in Excel and Tableau (or similar BI tools)
* Experience designing scalable reporting solutions and automating manual processes.
* Familiarity with Python for data manipulation or automation is a bonus but not required.
Desirable
* Experience working in pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
