As a Territory Manager, you will manage existing business within Key accounts alongside driving commercial development of the territory, solely responsible for the territory’s financial performance.
Ultimately the role holder will drive and develop growing market share and revenues across the following sectors:
1. NHS
2. Private Hospitals
3. Ophthalmology Surgeons (Private work)
This is a field-based role predominantly focused on driving activity with Surgeons/Consultants, Procurement, Business Managers, Pharmacists, Theatre staff and other key hospital personnel across all levels.
Territory includes: Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, East Anglia and Lincolnshire.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, drive NEW business across the existing territory
- Be accountable for the performance of the territory in line with company targets and objectives
- Manage, maintain, and grow IOL, Surgical Instruments, Phaco, OVD and OSD product ranges
- Actively review sales performance and identify opportunities, potential gaps, and risks to the Business
- Develop and update territory business plan in line with objectives to ensure achievement of sales targets, mitigating any risks to the business to ensure the maximum potential revenue objectives are achieved
- Develop new relationships with influential stakeholders within NHS and Private/Independent hospitals
- Increase Rayner engagement with influential surgeons
- Engage and proactively communicate with external and internal departments
- Responsible for planning own time appropriately to maximise business performance
- Continuously update and input data into company CRM platform
- Develop and deliver professional presentations to a range of audiences
- Work to own initiative, but be supportive of other team members
What Experience & Skills You Will Need:
- Proven track record of successfully selling into NHS and private hospital environment
- Existing knowledge of NHS and Private healthcare landscape across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, East Anglia and Lincolnshire
- Full UK Driving License
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience within Ophthalmology sector and IOLS
- ABHI and MIA Qualified (desirable)
- ABPI qualified would be beneficial
