The NetSuite System Administrator (/ Analyst) is a role that requires excellent versatility, combining business, financial and technical skills. Day-to-day duties involve configuring and maintaining NetSuite in support of business needs and the on-going development and administration of the system across Rayner. You will be expected to ensure the backend functions correctly, and to provide on-going technical support for all users of NetSuite, in conjunction with the NetSuite Lead Analyst. Experience gained in a commercial environment as a key / super user is a distinct advantage.

 

Duties

  • Working with the NetSuite Lead, facilitating the further rollout of NetSuite across Rayner by providing excellent system and business process support
  • Provide input to project teams on all aspects of the NetSuite deployment programme
  • Providing on-going post-implementation NetSuite support; driving testing, planning, execution, and optimisation support
  • Working with end-users and the NetSuite Lead to understand business needs to identify best solutions
  • Troubleshoot application, process, and functional issues
  • Performing day-to-day operations, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting activities through prioritisation of requests
  • Provide second line support to the internal IT ServiceDesk team
  • Assist in preparing dashboards and reports in support of user requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the IT function at Rayner

Competencies:

  • Experience in NetSuite system administration / configuration in a commercial environment OR
  • Experience as a key / super user in a business function using NetSuite; e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset – able to leverage experience and ask probing questions to ensure requirements are fully scoped and solutions understood
  • Relevant training and NetSuite accreditations would be advantageous

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A minimum of two years in a NetSuite support role and / or extensive experience in a business function using NetSuite (E.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service) 
  • Highly proficient in Oracle NetSuite across a range of modules
  • Understanding of the function of an IT Department and IT frameworks (e.g. ITIL) 

 

Desirable: 

  • NetSuite certifications
  • Experience in MS SQL to database administrator level 
  • Experience gained in a pharmaceutical / medical device / life sciences organisation
