We are looking for a driven and ambitious PM to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with key members of the business across Operations, Production, Commercial, RA/QA, R&D and Finance as well as the presenting of regular updates to the Directors/Executive Committee.

 

You will be responsible for driving projects from concept to delivery whilst also supporting process improvement projects as required. Reporting into and working closely alongside the VP Operations, you will be accountable for the successful progress and completion of these key projects.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Project Manager to join our highly experienced Operations team to drive key projects forward across the business, with a particular focus on rationalization of our product offering.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Form, lead and inspire cross-functional project teams to deliver programs of related projects within Rayner’s wider project portfolio, including:

SKU Rationalization - Analysis of our product offering and simplification to drive efficiency and reduce complexity

Future of the Factory - improvements to our production environments in UK, Portugal and Switzerland

Process Engineering improvement and production line automation projects

  • Provide the link between teams at the UK Head Quarters and internationally

  • Own the creation and maintenance of Project Files including project plans, risk management, resource allocation, verification and validation, design transfer and other relevant documentation ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations

  • Develop strong working relationships with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Production, IT, Commercial, Marketing and external partners

  • Chair productive and focused project team meetings, communicate project status and escalate major issues/risks on a regular basis to Project Sponsors and Project Steering Committees ensuring objectives and progress are aligned to business needs

 
 

What Experience You Will Need:

 
 

Essential

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within project management and technical analytical projects
  • Formal qualification in project management methodologies (e.g. Prince2, APMP, Agile etc)
  • Solid experience of Change Management ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in the use of relevant Microsoft tools (e.g. Office, PowerPoint, Project, Teams)
  • Experienced in managing remote teams across multiple projects

Desirable

  • Working in healthcare/pharma/medical devices industry
  • A working awareness of medical device regulations and the medical device directive (ISO13485, ISO11979, FDA QSR 21, CFR 820 etc.)
  • Experience with manufacturing sites integration
  • R&D or engineering people management experience
