You will work to ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Policy and to such standards as required, supporting the timely manufacture of lenses and associated products.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

*       To support the QA Inspector Team Leader in maintaining the core functions of the Quality inspection department.

*       To perform in-process QA inspection activities as required

*       To inspect and test where appropriate, product, packaging, and labelling.

*       To verify associated documentation to ensure that specified requirements are met.

*       Testing of batch control lenses and associated batch documentation checks.

*       Post sterilisation final pack check.

*       To work at all times to the requirements of Health and Safety law and the Company’s requirements as to Health and Safety.

*       To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably required.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • To ensure that products meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Minimal supervision required when successfully completing activities and responsibilities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING

  • Basic science or technical understanding

 

EXPERIENCE

(E.g., health care industry, multinational company, what level/types of roles etc.)

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience working in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with Quality System concepts, practices and procedures
  • Technically literate – comes from a science, clinical or engineering background.
