The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of operational strategies. This includes the oversight of processes and tools that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all sales operational functions (e.g., customer service, sales field, supply chain, etc.). As a result, the role will ultimately remove friction in the sales process through compliant and consistent processes.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

 

  • Assist with formulating, coordinating, reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of organization operating policies, regulations and procedures
  • Develop and champion innovative ideas that align with company strategies to improve the organization and create an environment that fosters innovation and continuous process improvement
  • Ensure operational compliance with healthcare regulations and standards across all processes
  • Collaborate with IT and technology teams to ensure robust integration of ERP, database, and reporting applications
  • Leads change management activities to ensure readiness for product launches & implementations
  • Manage Wholesalers and 3PL relationship by acting as liaison for organization
  • Oversee day to day execution of Pricing Strategy & Contract Management, Customer Set Up, Wastage Reimbursement / Replacement Process, Trial Product, Humanitarian Donations, etc.
  • Provide oversight, coaching and mentoring of direct reports
  • Assist management in maintaining continuous and timely awareness of operational issues and advising leadership on matters of concern
  • Responsible for the analysis, tracking, and reporting of business performance/user metrics KPIs
  • Partner with analytics team to maintain and update the Sales forecast and Demand plan for Supply Chain

  • Ability to take on other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to evolving organizational needs and willingness to undertake various tasks outside of primary responsibilities to support the overall objectives of the healthcare operation

  • Ability to travel nationwide (<20% of time)
  • Versatile with and adept in learning new software applications and technologies
  • Syteline ERP software

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE

 

Essential

  • 7+ years in healthcare operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain/Operations, Business or equivalent
  • Device and Pharma experience
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills are a must
  • Advanced Excel skills comfort with reporting production and automation techniques

Desirable

  • Consignment and leased equipment business model experience
  • Experience with Net Suite or like software
  • Knowledge of coding techniques in SAS (or R or Python), SQL and VBA, and
  • Basic Tableau knowledge
  • Experience with EDI reports
  • Experience with 3PL & Wholesalers
  • Experience working with a sales field
  • Audit experience
