The Salesforce Solutions Developer holds a central role in translating functional requirements into precise technical specifications, leading the implementation of development efforts across coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing, and debugging. Responsible for managing project timelines and producing comprehensive technical documentation, the developer conducts solution reviews, ensuring alignment with internal product roadmaps, scalability, and meeting customer business requirements. With expertise in Lightning Migration, the role involves building custom Lightning components to enhance agent productivity. The developer is a seasoned professional with over 5 years of Salesforce development experience, a deep understanding of APEX, proficiency in Lightning web components, and collaboration with third-party partners and AppExchange vendors. Experience in integration, databases, and data synchronization, coupled with proficiency in development tools, showcases the candidate's ability to adapt to new technologies. The developer is adept at problem-solving, meets deadlines, and brings high energy and enthusiasm, contributing to the success of projects in a global hypergrowth environment. Fluent in English, the candidate has a track record of advising companies on Salesforce utilization, operates effectively in agile environments, and remains abreast of Salesforce releases to lead successful implementations.


An advanced knowledge of various data applications (especially Salesforce, NetSuite ERP, Excel, Data Lader, SQL and AWS) and processes for bringing together disparate data from various sources to provide business insight is critical for success in this role.  Additional responsibilities include collaboration with commercial team members to provide expertise and hands on work to support ad hoc data, reporting and analytical requests.


Ideally based in Drogheda, Ireland. Can consider locations in Europe where Rayner has an entity (Warsaw, Porto, Madrid, Berlin, Milan, Lille)

  • Possesses in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce platform development.

  • Proven Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Mastery, Demonstrates a proven track record of expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with business goals.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in APEX, Lightning web components, and Lightning Design System (LDS).

  • Successfully implements Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.

Technical Documentation:

  • Produces clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

  • Effectively communicates technical specifications and requirements.

  • Ensures documentation accuracy and relevance to project objectives.

Qualifications/ Training/Experience:

Education, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required:


*       Minimum of 5 years experience with the Salesforce platform – implementing, managing and  developing Salesforce Solutions globally

*       BS/BA degree (or equivalent experience) is required.

*       A minimum of five years’ experience in an operational role with responsibility for comprehensive report generation is required with experience on the commercial side of the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry preferred

*       Advanced knowledge and practical application of Excel and SQL

*       Extensive knowledge of data systems and applications, particularly with data reporting applications, is required – specifically Tableau and / or PowerBI

*       Demonstrated organizational, project management, analytical skills, and attention-to-detail are required

*       Excellent customer service, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential
